Share your portfolio with tracked links and see who visits

Create a link for each person or application, then see views, recent visits, and Yara's summary in Analytics.

Written by Abdullah Atif

Give each person or application its own link to your portfolio, then see who opened it, how long they stayed, and what Yara thinks you should change.

1. Publish your portfolio

Open your portfolio from Library. If the button in the top right says Publish, click it and choose Publish now. Links and analytics only work once the portfolio is live.

2. Create a link for a person

Click Share, stay on the People tab, type who the link is for (for example "Google recruiter"), and click Create link. Use the copy icon on the row to copy the link and send it. Once they open it, the row shows when, like Opened 2m ago.

3. Create a link for an application

In the same Share menu, switch to Applications. Pick one of your applications or type the company or role (for example "Product Designer at Figma"), then click Create link. Each row counts its views.

4. Open Analytics

Click the chart icon in the portfolio toolbar. You will see Views, Unique visitors, and Avg time on page, with the change against the previous period. Use the range menu to switch between Past 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, and All time, and the refresh icon to pull in new visits.

5. See who visited

Scroll down to Recent visits. Each row shows which link they came from (or their location for a direct visit), when they visited, how much of the page they saw, and their device. Click Watch to replay a visit.

6. Let Yara read the data for you

Click Summarize visits to drop a ready-made question into the chat, then send it. Yara breaks your visits down by day and time of day and points out the ones that stand out. On the Heatmap card, Ask Yara how to improve does the same and ends with concrete suggestions. Click Make these changes if you want Yara to apply them, check the preview, then publish again.

7. Get an email when someone looks

Yara emails you the first time each link gets a real view, plus a daily activity digest. To turn this on or off, open Settings from your profile menu and use Portfolio visit emails under Notifications.

Good to know

  • Publishing a new version keeps your analytics. Visits to earlier versions still count.

  • A visit counts once someone spends a few seconds on the page or does something on it. Your own visits while signed in are not counted.

  • Creating tracked links needs a paid plan.
