Applications is your job tracker. Every role you save, start, or apply to in Yara lands here, so you can see where each one stands and move it along.
1. Open Applications
Click Applications in the left sidebar. Your roles are grouped into columns: Liked, In Progress, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected, and Withdrawn. The number next to each column is how many roles are in it. Scroll sideways to see every column.
2. Switch to list view
Use the two buttons next to the search box. Kanban view shows the columns. List view shows one row per application with its company, status, location, salary, applied date, and links to the portfolio and resume you used.
3. Change a status
Open an application and click the status next to Status in the Properties panel, or click the status pill in list view. Pick the new stage, for example Applied or Interviewing. The role moves to that column right away.
4. Read the application page
Click any card to open it. The left side has the job description and company details. The right side shows Properties (status, start date, job posting link), your Application kit with the form questions Yara still needs from you, the Materials you used such as a tailored resume, and the Chats where you worked on this role.
5. Yara Network roles
Roles with a gold badge are Yara Network roles. The Yara team moves these for you as the employer responds, so you cannot change their status yourself. Hover the status to see this note.
6. Add a role you found somewhere else
Click Add with Yara at the top of the page. Paste the job link into the chat and send it. Yara reads the posting and adds it to your applications under In Progress. From there you can ask Yara to tailor your resume or prepare an application kit.
7. Update your tracker from chat
You can also just tell Yara, for example "Move my PI Security application to interviewing". Yara finds the application, updates it, and the Applications page shows the change without a reload.
8. Stop tracking a role
If you are no longer interested, set the status to Withdrawn. Withdrawn roles keep their own column so they never count as a rejection. Deleting or archiving an application is not available yet.
Tip: use Search applications at the top to find a role by title or company.
