Yara can email you when something happens with your work, like the first time someone spends real time on your portfolio. You choose which emails you get from one place in Settings.
Open your notification settings
Click your name in the bottom left corner of Yara.
Choose Settings.
In the Settings window, choose Personalization.
Scroll to the Notifications card.
Turn each email on or off
Each row has its own switch. Click the switch to turn that email off, and click it again to turn it back on. Your choice saves right away, and it stays the same the next time you sign in.
Portfolio visit emails: an email the first time someone spends real time on your portfolio, plus a daily activity digest.
Application updates: an email when one of your applications changes status, including updates Yara finds in your connected inbox.
Marketing emails: product news, tips and occasional offers from Yara.
What a portfolio visit email looks like
When a visitor stays on your published portfolio for a few seconds, Yara sends a First view on your portfolio email from notifications@yara.so. It shows roughly where the visitor was and which browser and device they used. Click See the visit to open the visit in Yara.
Visit emails only go out for published portfolios. Your own visits while you are signed in do not count.
Unsubscribe from an email
Every notification email has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it turns off all notification emails at once. To get some of them back, open Settings, then Personalization, and turn the switches you want back on.
Not getting emails?
Check that the switch for that email is on in Settings, then Personalization.
Make sure your portfolio is published. Visit emails only fire for a live portfolio.
Look in your spam or promotions folder for mail from notifications@yara.so.
