Yara has three plans: Free, Pro, and Max. This guide shows how to pick a plan, upgrade, buy extra credits, turn on auto-reload, change how often you are billed, and cancel.
1. Compare the plans
Open yara.so/pricing to see every plan side by side. Use the Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly toggle to change the billing cadence. Quarterly saves up to 21% compared with paying monthly.
Free ($0): search roles and track applications in chat, 5 application kits, 1 portfolio, starter templates, and 100 credits a month.
Pro ($29 a month, $9.99 a week, or $69 a quarter): 100 application kits a month, the Smart and Expert chat models, role insights, full templates and unlimited portfolios, portfolio import, GitHub sync, no Yara badge, custom subdomains and domains, portfolio analytics, 100 Find People and email credits a month, Memory, and 1,000 credits a month (300 a week on the weekly plan).
Max ($99 a month, $24.99 a week, or $237 a quarter): everything in Pro, plus unlimited application kits, 500 Find People and email credits a month, and 3,500 credits a month (800 a week on the weekly plan).
Free chats on Lite. On Pro and Max, pick Lite, Smart or Expert in the chat box. Smart is the default; Expert thinks longest and uses more credits per message.
2. Upgrade your plan
In Yara, open Settings and choose Billing.
Click Upgrade to Pro, or Compare all plans to see every option.
Pick a cadence (Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly), then click Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Max.
You go to a secure Stripe checkout. If you have a promotion code, click Add promotion code, enter it, and click Apply.
Enter your card details and click Subscribe. You come back to Yara with your new plan active.
New accounts also see this choice at the end of onboarding: Start on Free, Continue with Pro, or Continue with Max.
3. Check your usage
Open Settings and choose Usage. You see how many plan credits you have used this cycle and when they reset, how many application kits and Find People credits you have used, and which features your plan includes. Features that need a paid plan are marked Pro and Max.
4. Buy extra credits
In Billing or Usage, click Buy credits.
Choose $10 (1,000 credits), $20 (2,000 credits), $200 (20,000 credits), or Other for any amount from $5 to $200. Credits cost $1 per 100.
Click Continue to checkout. If you already have a card on file, Yara charges it right away. Otherwise you add a card on Stripe checkout.
Extra credits never expire. Yara uses your plan credits first, then your extra credits.
5. Turn on auto-reload
Auto-reload keeps you from running out mid-search. When it is on, Yara buys 500 credits ($5) whenever your balance drops below 100 credits, up to $50 a month. Turn on the Auto-reload switch under Usage credits. You need a saved card first; without one, Yara shows "Add a payment method first, then turn this on."
6. Change plan or billing cadence
In Billing, click Adjust plan.
Pick a cadence, then click Switch to Weekly, Switch to Monthly, Switch to Quarterly, or Switch to Pro or Max.
Review the order summary. It shows what is due today and on your next billing date. Click Confirm.
7. Cancel your plan
In Billing, scroll to Cancel plan and click Cancel.
Optionally tell us why, then click Complete cancellation (or Cancel without answering).
You keep your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. After that you move to Free. Your resumes, portfolios, applications and chats stay, and Free limits apply from then on (for example 1 portfolio, starter templates and 100 credits a month).
Changed your mind? Click Keep plan in Billing any time before the period ends and your plan renews as normal.
